Excellent graduate prospects and outstanding research were some of the factors that attributed to the University’s rise in the rankings, published today [18 September].

Nineteen subjects are ranked in the top 10, with seven in the top five, including:

• Pharmacology and Pharmacy – 10^th

Professor Hugh Brady, Vice Chancellor and President of the University of Bristol, said: “Here 吃瓜网, we pride ourselves on the diverse, research-led education that we offer to our students. The guide is based on an analysis of 131 UK universities judged on nine indicators including student satisfaction with teaching quality and their wider student experience, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, service and facilities spend, and degree completion rates.

The widely respected guide provides the definitive rankings for UK universities and the most comprehensive overview of higher education in Britain.

The latest results follow on from Bristol’s recent climb of 12 places in The Guardian’s University Guide 2021, in which it was named the 11^th best University in the UK.
