The guide is based on an analysis of 131 UK universities judged on nine indicators including student satisfaction with teaching quality and their wider student experience, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, service and facilities spend, and degree completion rates.
The widely respected guide provides the definitive rankings for UK universities and the most comprehensive overview of higher education in Britain.
The latest results follow on from Bristol’s recent climb of 12 places in The Guardian’s University Guide 2021, in which it was named the 11th best University in the UK.
