Professor Jon Rasbash, 1960-2010 24 March 2010 Jon Rasbash, who was Professor of Computational Statistics and Director of the Centre for Multilevel Modelling, sadly passed away on 10 March. Edward James Sands, 1920-2011 8 February 2011 Eddie Sands, a research technician and superintendent in the Zoology and Psychology departments respectively, and a long-time chairman of the Bristol branch of the ASTMS Union, died on 13 January.

Sir Michael Angus 1930-2010 29 March 2010 Sir Michael Angus, a Bristol graduate who led the University's ambitious Campaign for Resource in the 1990s, passed away in March.
